Comments: Sitali Pranayam cools and relaxes. It is used often by yogis to clear the head and aid digestion. This pranayam can be very helpful during pregnancy to lessen heartburn. If your tongue tastes bitter when you practice Sitali, it is an indication of toxification. Continue practicing regularly for best results.
Sitali Pranayam (3 min to 11 min)
- Sit in a comfortable position.
- Close the eyes and concentrate at the Brow Point, the Third Eye Point.
- Roll your tongue into a “U” with the tip just outside the lips. If you cannot roll your tongue, stick the tip outside the mouth and curve it.
- Inhale breathing through the rolled tongue.
- Exhale through the nose.
